Vehicle is '68 Charger weight about 3600lbs w/ 505" B1 making about 800-900HP. I'm at the buying brakes stage and the question came up. What the difference between the Wilwood Dynalite and Dynapro product lines? Looking at the 12.19" rotor brakes specifically. I'd prefer to run the 6 piston Dynapro fronts and the 4 piston Dynalite rears with the internal parking brake, on 16" rims, any reason not to? Use is going to be street and strip with a manual transmission, so I need the parking brake. S/F....Ken M

You will get some people tell you that the calipers on the Wilwood do not have dust boots...

That is correct but they do not have an issue with dirt messing the piston up at all. Talking with Wilwood they even said they do no thave a problem with this and it has never been an issue.

I chose them for 3 other cars and will for this one.

The dynapros are some very good brakes... No need to worry with anything...

Thanks. The issue I was hoping to sort out was the difference between the dynapro and the dynalite. Wilwood said dynalite for the rear, cool, no sweat, but then they said go dynalite on the front axle as well. I'd prefer 6 piston for the front, so dynapro, unless they make a 6 piston dynalite, which I don't see on their website. S/F....Ken M
