What other bucket seats will work in a 71 Road Runner? Are 71 & up A-body seat frames the same? Here's a pic of the seats in my car right now.

I want to put proper 71 Runner buckets back in. But if I can't find any what other ones will work providing I get new foam and covers???

The 71 B bodies can use 71-74 B's and maybe the later ones (late 70's Magnum, chargers, Furys and Cordoba, these were B's as well). The 70 -74 E body will also work. No early Bs and no A body seats will work. They're around if you keep looking. Who did your dash?

I've got Scat Procar Elites in my '71.

Primetime - I was told that the E-body seat were too short on the backrest... The dash was in the car when I bought it. Apparently it was a race car in the past. Hence the dash and different bucket seats....

From what I understand the tracks are the same, and if you look at the seats they are both that high back. Many of the seats themselves changed shape in 73, but the tracks remained the same. For the best look you should look for the thin ones from 71-72 b Body and 70-72 E. I know someone that has one or both of the seats that are just sitting in his garage. He sells mopar stuff.

His name is Gabe:
