I've been offered a smokin' deal on some Koffel's rockers from B1 originals. So as some of you may know I have the B1 MCs. Are the intake rockers the same or do I have more offset in my rockers? Inquiring minds want to know. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wiink.gif)

why would you want to run them ? the rockers that come with my B1 MC heads from koffels were junk. if i was you i would be looking for a set of T & D rockers to put on it.

I would follow Scott Koffel through hell if he told me he new the way out in the end but I still would not use those rockers.
That is funny but, very well put. And I couldn't agree more. Scott is a nice person IMO. Maybe they've reengineered the rockers since the original product? I remember when you bought the upper-end package originally and many here, with experience, posted against those rockers. In your defense IIRC you went by the recommendation of Scott, that those would be ok. But, I would like to see him post his confidence in the integrity of those. If they are what you say, he says they are, they would sell more rockers. The truth will set you free. SG you are a 'real' racer and good member of this community, I am sorry for your bad luck last year. I can't think of anyone that would mislead you.

It's funny that so many people have had so many problems with those rockers. I have not. I dod my homework though, and talked with some of the people that were using them and found the torrington bearing system somld by Tom Hemphill and Scott (I think) to work for me until my spring pressures approached 300#'s on the seat and 850-900#'s open. That's when I changed but perhaps it wasn't neccesary even then. I've also seen people put the shafts on the wrong way, run their stuff, burn pushrods, and blame the rockers. So....If a guy can afford the T&D's or Jessels, great. Otherwise I would run the Koffel stuff with the torrington bearing kit.
