Will a 15 x 7 standard back spacing ralley wheel with a 255 BF Goodrich tire fit on the rear of a 69 Dart without any mods ? Yes the wheel is small bolt pattern.

No, not unless everything is perfect, and even then they may rub in turns or when passengers are in the back seat. 245/60-15 is the widest that will typically fit the stock 8.75 rear axle without relocating the springs and/or rolling the quarter lip.

The 15x7 wheels from a Chrysler 5th ave, 86-89 vintage fit fine. I dont know the backspacing of these though. I had a pair on a 69 Dart with an 8 3/4. They fit fine.
I also had a pair of WIDENED rally wheels, 15x8 in the rear of my own 67 Dart, also fit fine, using a 255/55/15 tire. It was an oddball size, but looked great and fit without rubbing. Both cars had totally stock wheel tubs, ZERO cutting anywhere.
If I get the hankerin' to use nonstock, wider wheels on an unfamiliar chassis, I do the following:
Set the car on jackstands, positioned under the rear axle and under the control arms. This will allow the car to sit in a position similar to being on its own tires. I take a stock rim without a tire on it and see how much clearance I have. Then I look to where I can add width. I try to keep 3/4" of space at a minimum from the tire sidewall and any suspension component.
The 67 Dart I had was equipped with an 8 3/4 axle from a 68 Coronet, so I had to have the rear wheels MADE to the size that I wanted. This did allow me to fit a wheel much wider than stock.

I ran weld draglights 7" with 4 1/2" backset with a 245/60/15 on my 68 Dart

I had the 8 3/4 with moser axles/green bearings/large brakes, which made the whole rear wider by a 1/2"...1/4" each side

they fit perfect in the wheel tub with a 1/4" clearance at the fender lip and at the tire bulge and leaf spring( did not roll the fender lip)

i did get a 235/75/15 on the 7" with 4 1/2" BS on it once..it was very tight getting it in the wheel tub but wound up too tall for meand was a little at high speed(rear jacked up)

when i used a large bolt 7 1/4 rear axle the 4 1/2" backset with 245/60 would rub on the leafs at the tire bulge on hard turns(just enuff to scuff the riased white letters

the 68 small bolt 7 1/4 had 13" rims and never tried anything other that the stock 13x5? rim

swaped that 8 3/4 in the 85 truck and went 12" rim with the same 4 1/2" backset

mid 80s stock rims and the cop rims have a 4 1/4" backset on them,IIRC
