I ordered up my wheels and tires today along with a kick down cable... picked up my trans rebuild kit and a few upgrades in the trans.... I'll order the hood tomorrow with a 4" cowl ... so yeah I spent a few bucks today and Thursday I pick up my moly tubing... I still need to order my input shaft and support for the trans... getting that from Cope

LOL... I think I pretty much burnt that money tree to the ground for a while... I can still get my tubing then I'll need to give it a chance to grow again... I dont have alot left to buy BUT I still need brakes and the radiator ... then from there its just small stuff but it still adds up

When Santa drops off the stuff I will post a pic... I dont expect the hood for about a week... I didnt order the front tires cause I want to make sure which size will clear... gonna be a 25" tire or a 26"... looks like I'll need to stretch the rear wheel openings about 3" to fit the rears so I'll start that tomorrow..... more work

I'd like to switch my Duster to E-85 and take a shot at drag week too. Probably not this year though......
Good luck Raff!
I'm not gonna run my E-85 carb just the gas 1050 cause I dont know if E-85 will be available where ever we run this year(if I get this thing done in time) I'm still cutting apart and nothing seems to be going together... well I cant really say that... I think in a week I will have a trans and most likely the engine done or almost done

Pics would be great - car mods too! Wow, you do know how to have fun .
This is fun... I enjoy doing this stuff but I like it when things start going together so you can see progress and I'm not there YET

I was suprized that AAR(where I'm getting the hood) has only sold one other hood order in 12 years... and that was the guy that was the original purchaser... they had this hood for 12 years and have never had another order for one... this hood normally comes with a 2" cowl but I had him change it to a 4"
