I believe I pressed out the metal sleeve and just ran the bushing on mine.

I have 9114 (old 5-way) on my Dart Sport and they have the same bushing top & bottom. But you also have to look at the compressed and extended lengths for your particular application. The Rancho website has a part #/spec page that you can compare shocks. I dont have the direct page link handy. Rancho shocks

If there's enough rubber to do so, remove the metal sleeve and ream the remaining rubber bushing up to the needed size.
We pay top dollar for made in the usa parts and nothing fits.
They can't even get a pair of shocks right.
I think next time, I order parts they will be chinese made.
What have i got to lose. rant over.

I know its not right to have to fix a new part you spend good money on BUT you can push the inner sleeve out and press in a larger size(correct size) but you might to press one out of a old shock... I wouldnt just press out the inner and run the rubber on the bolt... you need that inner sleeve to butt against the cross member

Mr P, The old shocks are 38 years old and the bushes are rubber, with no inner sleeves.
