Thanks to Bigdad for posting the link. Wonder if that '64 was a "mule" that later got crushed, or if it went to a racer: "here ya go, it's been TESTED".
Love the dealer plates, when the car could have had manufacturer plates or (what I would have expected) no plates at all.

Those are the only pictures I have seen of a race Hemi with Carter AFBs I had heard the first batch of 1964 race Hemi had Carters carbs. and the factory switch to Holleys later that year and then superseded the Carter carb pt. # with the Holley replacement carbs BTW, that is the only time I have heard of the 2% cars
One other thing, the AHRA winternationals where two to three weeks before the NHRA Winternationals at Pomona, looks like the Hemi racers where enter in both races
