Change out the bushings and pins and be sure to use a high quality moly lube when you reassemble them. I like using synthetic brake caliper grease on small moving parts. It's great stuff and won't attack plastic parts either.
Always align the back and bottom of the door to the quarterpanel and door sill first. Then adjust the front of the door, makinbg sure not to mess up your rear and lower door alignment.
