Lay a straight edge across the back surface of the wheel then measure down to the surface that seats to the axle... whats the width of the Centerlines and back space on them... my 3.5" wide would clear pretty much any brake ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

Ted remember to add in the section width of the tire along with the back spacing if your looking to get more tire under it EDIT I forgot about the safety wire question... I dont have any pic of it but you loop the wire through the bolt with the wire loaded so the bolt cant back out... if your looking at the head of the bolt hoop in from the bottom, out the top and go to the right to the next bolt ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

Ted, I have to safty wire a lot, working on jet's and power turbines,,once you do it a few times it becomes second nature and actually kind of fun,,,but then again it don't take much to entertain me. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif)
