Bob,

Thanks for the info but I'm not sure I understand.

I have a Cuda that has a K member with a coin that has "17" on it.

I looked in the tech section under front suspension and found the part numbers for K members but I don't see any that end in "17".

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Tim

Interesting , was that a hemi only thing? I've never see a coin on a K frame before 1970

Where are these coins found? I don't recall seeing them when messing with mine.

I wasn't under the impression that K members from C, B & A bodies would fit into a Cuda. Am I wrong about that too?

They didn't start showing up till 1970 model year , it's on the face of the K frame on the front toward the radiator

Gotcha. My K-frame came from a 69. Obviously, the 65 didn't have one either.

B-body k-frames WILL fit in an E-body (steering box mount is at different angle).

Got a pic? I've seen tags stamped off-center, is it a "77" missing the top of the first "7"?

What k-frame is it supposed to be, what engine was the car originally? GOT a SKID plate?

I'm sure it's nothing special. I'm just trying to get a handle on what the number means and I'm more confused now than I was before I asked.

No big deal. Maybe it's a four banger tractor K member. Or probably a mis-stamp like you said.

They seem to be hit or miss on the 70 and later ones also. I have seen more without than with.
