yes, r3 block. when it's real hot, it runs around 178 down the road, no hotter than 200 in traffic.

Mine... Mostly original and all stock. Brown, bench, boring, blah. I guess they can't all be hi-impact, scooped and winged.

Steve I really like your Demon as I think the color looks great. The only thing I would do is add the dual scoops as I like the dual scoops alot. If I had the cash I would make you a good offer on the car as its one of my favorite A-bodies. Ron

Thanks Ron. Even though I complain about the car being brown and boring, I'll probably never sell it as it is the only unmolested musclecar that I own. I actually don't mind the color and I think the white stripes actually help the color. The bench seat really bothers me as I find bench seat A-bodies somewhat uncomfortable to drive. Also, the little single manual outside mirror bugs me. I love the dual painted mirrors on these cars. This car is actually why I built my 71 340 Duster... So I could add all the cool options to it and not feel bad about it.

Produster, Don't feel bad, I have a 71 Duster Twister that needs to be cut up and put on a chassis like that Demon you've got. Someday.

That's what my blue Demon looked like when it was new. Someone changed it to blue before I got it. I owned a brown 71 back in the 90s, too.

My all time favorite Pro Stock (other than the 71 Missle)
I loved how Paul Frost had this car set up.

Haha yea they are. They are also expensive (33" tall 22" wide M/T radials) but they fit nice. It doesn't need that much rubber cuz it's pretty slow, but it looks cool
