I'm looking for suggestions for a set of adjustable rocker arms to be used on a 360 circle track motor. It has RHS X heads, LA style, with a solid cam from Hughes. Class rules state no aluminum rockers, but can run a roller tip. I've got a set of the old 273 iron rockers, but was wondering if a roller tip would be better and worth the expense. Are the PRWs any good? Are the Comp cams set worth the $? thanks in advance.

I've looked into the RAS, just too expensive. They seem like very nice pieces, i just don't have that kind of $ for a set of rockers.
Cam lift is .550.

The Comp Cams steel rockers are tough and well made - light weight and strong. With real high spring pressures, they can gall the rocker shafts. At .55 lift with matching springs you shouldn't have that problem. I wouldn't think you would see a lot of gain over ductile rockers though.

For your .550 lift I would check the 273 adjustable
you have for proper ratio and if they are close I'd
run them

The Comp Ultra Pro Magnum sounds like the ticket here. They're made of 8620 nickel chromemoly steel.

Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

can anyone confirm weather or not the crane or isky ductile rockers are bushed or not? maybe just a good hardened banana grooved shaft would be the best defence against galling on a non-bushed rocker?
The comp ultra pros would prob work well, i guess it would just be weather the extra couple hundred $ and a roller tip would be any significant gain in hp and wear.

Comp sells their rockers with matching shafts... run with the right shafts and high zinc oil - which you need anyhow for the flat tappet -I believe its a pretty robust setup up to around 400+ lbs open spring pressure.
