Working for PPG, obviously I have access to our vast array of colors for powdercoating. I was wondering what most people were doing for the sway bars and backing plates, ooops also the rear springs now that I am thinking about it.

There are those who say the sway bars and rear springs were not coated and should have that bare steel look. Well we have a number of grays that look "bare metal". Powdercoating would give these a permanant bare metal look...sorta. There are a number of grays to choose from.

There are those who say do the sway bars, rear springs, and backing plates black. Needless to say I have a choice of a dozen or so blacks with varying sheens of gloss.

I will be doing a number of parts in black. I have access to polyester powdercoats, polyurethanes etc. Both are for exterior and both are extrememly mar and chip resistant.

Ok, so tell me what do you think?
