I have a Fresh set of 1967 915 heads with ferra 2.14int. and 1.88exh.

I was told that the bigger exhaust valve screwed the torque numbers?? Anyone tell me if this is true! Said that it would loss all torque thru curve??????????

I'll never understand peoples addiction to Ebarf!

Why not look at 440 Source Stealth heads that flow comparable numbers OOTB...for $899? AND come with someone behind them that WON'T tell you what a peice of YOU are IF there's problem...

915 heads with 2.14...lowering torque...
Your question depends on alot of varibles.
porting, cam, compression, intake, gear ?

I think they were talking about the 1.88 exhaust valve? I know the more commonly used size is 1.81. Could this be a factor? They guy who machined the heads told me that it would compromise torque by cutting the exh. valve so big?? The intention for the heads was suppose to be used with twin 67mm turbo's.

A freind bought some and had them ported, don't know the flow #'s.Bolts them on and the pushrods hit the head.So off they come to get machined,he has had other probs. He should have just bought the victors.
