Did you open up the plenum area at the carb pad? Did you cut back the runner walls or machine around them and leaving them sticking into the plenum area? Is that better than tapering the Dominator flange down to the 4150 size?

the intake is un touched for now there is not enough meat on this intake to just do a 4500 conversion on. we disscussed welding a 4500 flange to the intake. this is a option i wanted Brett to take a look at before i start on it. this is just to test with on the dyno to compare it to my tunnel ram.

I've got a RAW, read unported and how!!!, one. I just wondered if you new anyone whom tried the '7430' intake because it looks slightly different than the edelbrock. You wouldn't think there'd be much to be gained considering it's a relatively evolved NASCAR motor... Based on your gains with the M&M is what spured my curosity. It'll be interesting to see the results from the modified edelbrock. I'm sure there's something there especially with a carb. I'll bet it runs right up there in HP to the M&M now.
