I like the idea of the stainless exhaust systems, and I see the 25% discount. But do they fit well. Is it a shoddy fit? Good fit? Does it hug the bottom side pretty well? I dont like low hanging exhaust sytems, and I really want a stainless exhaust system over "aluminized" pipes.

Have you order any and whats your experience?

Yea, I was told that the Magnaflow systems on the 70-74 E bodies were very much hit and miss, while some fit pretty well, others didnt fit well at all and you spent money trying to get things bent so they would align up and point right. I was hoping with it being stainless that it would hold a shine, but apparantly with the kind of stainless it is that too is iffy.

I want an exhaust system that would keep a nice finish. The aluminized systems might end up being my best option but they will turn in color and spot rust. I wonder about buying stainless 2.5inch pipe and having it cut and welded. It seems like someone told me stainless wouldnt bend easily. I dont remember.

I have the 3inch on my challenger and 2.5 on the cuda. Best systems i ever installed .went together easily, nice hardware,SS,X pipe mandrel bent etc. Can't say enough about it. I got both my systems from performancepeddler.com . The 2.5 was under 500 shipped. Go on there and you will enter an offer(super low) and they will send you their best price in an email.

I have the manga flow 2.5 system on my small block challenger.

The x-pipe back is a nice fit the problem with the system is the headers "depending on the header it will fit like a glove or not at all" the driver side fit almost perfectly under the trans crossmember. the passenger side no where close and it is too far to the right of the car and missed the hump in the crossmember, so depending on where your headers exit it could be hit or miss. however the to pipe foward of the crossmember could be cheap for an exhaust shop for a perfect fit.

I didn't install the over axle pipes as i hate the look of the exhaust exitting under the valence "anyone looking for SS 2.5 tail pip let me know i will make you a deal " It does sound great!!

the headers i run are 1 7/8 hooker supercomps.. I did have to cut both head pipes on both cars, but thats with any system thats not header brand specific. The 2.5 exhaust on the cuda is tucked up super high and i ran the tail pipes out of the stock rear valance with factory exhaust tips(which took a bit of re working)
