Which seam? I think on my car I used 4 different ones.

Fender to Inner Fender: SEM Expandable Foam

DRip Rail and others: Eastwoods has a beige colored caulk

Floor board seams - Used a thick roofing material from Home Depot

Trunk floor seams - Uses greay 3M seam sealer

I generally use 3M brands in the cartiage/cauking gun style tube,..avoid the fast setting formulas as they shrink too much, depending on the "pattern" your trying to duplicate, use a brush or your finger to detail the seam to your liking,...the trick to avoiding it looking like a kid's fingerpainting is to have a open can of laquer thinner present so that you can dip the brush or your finger into it, as it aids in the flowout and smoothing of the seamsealer, experiment, and you'll soon find what works, and what dosen't
