babarracuda OP pro stock B Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,465 Carson City, NV	When I changed from 4.30's to 3.23 I put in Royal Purple 75-90 gear lube and sure grip fluid. The housing had a coupe of small dings on the gasket surface. I put in a new gasket and filed the dings do they didn't stick up. The housing leaks small drips on the floor. Does synthetic oil tend to leak more than conventional oil? I've never had a leak problem on 40 years with conventional oil.

jbc426 master Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,301 West Coast, USA	It has leaked on my stuff when I didn't use Ultra Seal gasket sealer. 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)
