If you're referring to a P/G application I used a J/W bell adapted from the glide to my BB and a Reactor brand flywheel that adapted from the crank to a 'glide convertor, worked great, no problems...except now that I don't use a 'glide anymore I have a shelf full of glide convertors and a 'glide (no bell or flywheel, sold it with the dragster)that I can't seem to sell...

Should have known sooner, I may have been interested in it for the right price before I decided to go with the 904....

On my 904 I use a CSR its awsome but its also in a tube chassis with a removable tranny hump in the floor. On my Dart w/727 I'm going to use a Ultrabell. Just no room to get a CSR in there without beating the body all to heck.

I have a removable trans tunnel from my 833 with the Vgate and lakewood bell. I could probably get away with just a shield instead of a JW bell. Cause lets face it, either way if something catastrophic happens the trans is junk and your feet are safe...

If you have a removable trans tunnel I'd use the CSR shield, since you can get to the bellhousing bolts easily and line everything up from inside the car. You'll have to cut 1 or 2 pieces off the 904 bell on top but for the most part I really like mine. The Ultrabell is a little more involved. And yes either of them is a very good idea.

Be sure and check to see if you will need to put the larger starter ring on your convertor. If I remember correctly when using a 904 you have to go to a 140(?) tooth starter ring gear. I would call JW.
