Sorry for the mix-up. Both Michigan tracks end in N and both a long way from South La. Those camo cars are the real deal, no matter what state.............

I have not heard anything on that. Could be the new cars? Where are the cars for Indy? Only a dozen so far. I hope to see 30 AH cars. Where is the cook? I want my $20 back!

No Indy for me this year, not even with the Stocker. I have another commitment and can't attend. BG then Indy is the best back to back racing on the NHRA schedule.

I didnt know we were friends. Its been so long since I've seen his car I forgot how pretty it is.
Perk and Baughman only ones at atco, 11 cars entered at indy so far for 15K purse, pretty sorry if you asked me. I remember 28 to 30 cars for the first 5 or 6 years I went to indy, than when hemis turned into prostock cars with grade point requirements, the casual participant decided to retire. I can say as I blame them.
Congrats to JB, he said he thought he did pretty good for the first time at the track this year.

That is correct. I heard rumors of them building a SS/AH HEMI, but no one that I talked to knew who it was for. I hope they can find the power to make Bucky compete with Charlie, Barton's, and Perkins. I still think the stick cars have the advantage, but what do I know. I just enjoy reading about the AH cars.

We need some more cars. 15 now. Maybe I AM offensive & dumd!!! Where is Bales? John B.?, Brooks? Mark V.(Vegas Champ), Tim, Booker, Randy, Willie etc etc. I also heard of a new car coming out of La. from some SC guys.
Reher Morrison have my backup motor "Chuckwheat" ready and so far redesigned "Thumper" (Hards old motor)should be done by Indy as well. My problem is at 1HP per pound I will not be able to pick up both motors on the same trip in my 1 ton dually.

Larry Perkins made some nice runs down at Atco! looks like they're ready for Indy! Baughmans car looked real strong upstairs!! Watched him at the top end when I was on the scales. Nice runs for a new engine. Cant really miss the car with the new paint!! I think he ran a 8.60 with some good mph. Wanted to go see the car but was too busy working on my car. Doug Walker from www.hemishootout.net was supposed to be taking pics of their car for his website. Have to watch for it over there. Nice to see someone promoting the AH cars with such dedication!

Last year 39 SS/AH cars made grade point passes. 24 were entered at Indy. Yep, I also thought $15,000 would bring out more cars.  Maybe Tony D can get Campbell, Buntin and Leiter to come.

Tony told me Campbell was going to be there, hopfully with a new engine. I made him a custom camshaft for it, he said they would be there with something.
