I would like to know if there are any vendors that sell replacement gas pedals for a 65 A100 or do you know of any other pedal that may work.

Yes there is a pedal that works, Ter' the owner of the A-100 Yahoo group has figured that one out. Join the group and look in the archives (files or photos).

"Hey mister, something's wrong with your car, it idles roughly" - number one comment I got in Israel when daily driving a 70 Barracuda with a lopey cam.

Currently working on - 1966 Dodge A100 van 318/auto
Finally - disc brakes on the front.
In the plans - rear disc brakes, B&M 250 blower

I've requested to join over 5 times in the last 2 years with no acceptance. What's up with that? Gives me a bad impression of the group if you ask me!

It's okay, and the guys there are very knowledgable, but there isn't much traffic.
I only vist once or twice a month now...

Here's the info Ran mentioned from Terry at the Yahoo group....

The Pedal I found is supplied by S&S-Tug Technologies out of their Aircraft
Pushbacks and Baggage Tugs. They are located in Marietta GA.
Tug Technologies PN# T6-1009-103
TUG's original supplier is actually Ford Motor Company.
Ford PN# EOHZ-9735C
Who makes it for Ford is a mistery.
When you have one in your hands you'll see how it adapts to our A's very nicely.
Please remember that it does not look exactly like the all rubber factory piece
but they work perfect. Mounts up about the same too.

Thanks for the info-I may try to locate a Ford pedal. I did come up with a PN CITZ-9735C but not the EOHZ-9735C but will keep looking. THANKS AGAIN

If I'm not mistaken the basic 9735 Ford part number is the same part, all of the prefixes are just year/model codes.

Are the pedals the same as the ones on the 61-68 full size trucks?

VPW used to have them but last I heard they don't anymore. I have an extra but it has a few cracks about 2/3 of the way up. I think it can be repaired since the cracks aren't on the flexible parts.

VPW ? Parts store? Right now I'm using a 61-64 Studebaker pedal with new holes (self tapping screws) and it works, but just a little shorter.

OT: The "rejection" by the Yahoo group:
The problem is they want your Yahoo profile to have your location. Unfortunately, there are two places in your yahoo profile that get confused, and you probably kept updating the "wrong" one. That's all. It happened to me when I tried to join, and could not understand why are they asking me to put my location, when I already thought I did.
They are not snobs
There's not a lot of traffic now, but the archives are a very good resource. And some of the guys, especially Ter' have a lot of useful info.

WOW - They look about the same to me. My original pedal was missing the lower section that bolts to the floor when I got the truck. It was cobbed with a hinge piece attached to it. Thanks so much for the info!!! There is hope for the A100 after all.

I still have my original which is in real sad shape. I'm using a fabbed up doorhinge and wood for mine covered with a "barefoot" pedal for that hippy look.

Mine had an aluminum drum pedal bolted to the pedal. I have a question for you on one of your replies. I came up with part # 2239-65 from the info you sent. Any vendors sell that pedal?

They look like they might be slightly different but probably closer than anything else out there. Hard to tell with the small picture.

VPW is Vintage Power Wagons. http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/

They no longer have the pedals in the catalog. I just sold one and the buyer said VPW no longer carries them.

Those look similar to what's in my '74 Dodge van front motorhome. I just had it out when I was ripping out the shag carpet.
