If you bought the moroso or Comp engineering kit then they should of came with the nut's and aluminum spacers.

I did not buy the kit, the studs came on the axles I bought. Is that how the 5/8th work tho? There is an aluminum spacer that fits on the stud, inside the wheel and then a small acorn lug nut? I have seen those with some kits.

Mike,

The 5/8 studs are the same size as the holes in the weld wheels. The aluminum spacer goes against the wheel and then an open-ended nut goes on.

Here is a pic of my axles with a 5/8 stud kit. They usually have 2 sets of spacers, long and short, you only need one set, generally the short ones with the weld wheels.

yes and yes...on your Star's the wheel will fit EXACTLY on those studs with little room to spare...then the spacers, then the lug nut over it tightened down of course...thats why they dont use a shoulder type of Lug Nut

With 5/8 studs and weld wheels I recommend 135 ft/lb torque

I wouldn't use any spacers and you can get the open ended lug nits and spacers from Mark Williams.

Mike,
If you got the strange 5/8" studs, they look like long bolts that thread in from the inside of the axle flange and you will need the threaded sleeve that goes with them. The strange set up is different than mark williams set up. MW has a stud that is threaded on each end with a shoulder (11/16 to match the hole in the wheel.
If your studs look like a bolt that is threaded all the way, check on stanges web site for the sleeves. The sleeves make up the diffence in the 5/8" stud and the 11/16" hole in the wheels.
