Needed a gas tank. The one it came with had a hole in it. No one had a tank for a 69 b body wagon. I took a chance and bought a tank for a 66-67 b body car because it looked the same and it fit perfectly. old new

That is definitely a wagon that I would like to turn into a two door hard top just for the fun of a project.

So anyway, I had bought this car in February of this year. With the tank replaced and the front end rebuilt with a kit from PST I took it to a couple local cruise ins. People seemed to like it, they looked and asked questions etc. Hell...maybe they were horrified by it. So as the season was winding down I decided that instead of rebuilding the 383, I would replace it with a 440 which I purcased from Rick H (qkRick) here on the forum. I took a ride out to Ohio and spent the morning BS'ing with Rick. Loaded this motor into my truck and headed home.

Glad you started a thread on this. I've seen the car in your sig and it's pretty neat. I'm painting my Challenger GoMango and am really happy with the color I had considered sublime for mine so we seem to have a similar thinking. Either way, I don't think you could go wrong.
The wheels and tires made a huge difference. Keep the updates and pics coming!

Sorry for the bad cell phone pic. (EDITED POST to replace with better pic) Here is the ac/heat block off plate with the welds ground down and primed to get an idea of how it will look. I am probably going to put a heavy ground stud through the plate/firewall to ground the electronics and a strap from the passenger side of the engine to the firewall.
