Did you get that car yet? There are not many of them left out there.

Sorry I need to look at that again. I think I read that list wrong.

I would bet you did. Normally, you can't combine options to arrive at a number. There are certain exceptions (Buffed silver paint, 1971 Shakers) so I'd be curious to know what you find out.

I'm finally going to look at the car on Friday, weather permitting. From what I've been told it looks allot like the car in your pic, just a darker blue. I'll take some digitals and post them.

Looked at the car today. This supposed original rust free 4 barrel car ended up being a 318 with holley 4 barrel and a far from rust free body. Rats!!! It runs and drives OK.PS and AC with 150 speedo. Fold down armrest. Needs lower qtr work and drivers floor. Rust hole in RH fender and rear window corners. What's it worth??? Really?

Thanks.

I didn't realize that about the seats. Not an "A" guy myself. Don't recall ever having one. I need to really do my homework on this one before purchasing. Any idea what they are out of? Thanks for pointing that out.

it looks like an E body bench seat.

I got my 67 notchback 6 cyl automatic for 900 bucks.

Now it has a 528 hemi and a full cage.

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought after looking at them closer. I'm looking in the $500 range for this car if I can get it. We'll see. There isn't much original about it after further examination. Amazing what people will do sometimes to sell a car.

Maybe someone will chime in about the value of an original E-body bench seat? They are not common, and you may be able to make your investment back.

I think it's 70. It has a fold down center armrest. I would like to have more ideas about the car's value.

That seat is pretty rare for someone who wants to restore his '70 correctly.

That's true. If I did get the car I would be selling that seat and getting the correct one.

What I'm suggesting is that the value of the seat may offset the cost of the car - I dunno.

I agree. I also have another set of wheels I rat holed away that would work with this car and would sell the 70 rallyes that are on it now. We'll talk turkey tomorrow evening so these suggestions are good in figuring out what to pay for it.
