I am sorry to hear that your buddy is having trouble. I am confused though... I could have sworn I saw those complete transmission packages advertised for like $3800.00? I guess the devil might be in the details. Thanks, Jamie
I'd make the assumption it was $3800 for the trans and roughly $3700 for the installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Hello Jamie, I am seriously considering your tranny and am very happy to hear that you are getting underway. Your comment about "I probably would have gotten a bit miffed too. You are basically calling the person a liar." is not very accurate though. When I was talking with him I never said that he was not telling the truth or was incorrect in any way. This need to be perfectly clear. I think it is totally appropiate for a person to ask if someone is sure about something. Twostick, As for the the idea that it is not my business to know when a manufacture of a product, I have been considering for years, is up and running in production is totally foolish. Hats off to you Jamie. I have never accomplished what you have and only somewhat know how hard of a process it is to design and manufacture such a complex and much needed part. Thank you! Damon

Not sure what they did but it did cost 1500 or so.He got it back and it did shift better but not that great. I can shift with the best of them and I can't stand it. It feels like driving my Diesel truck.
My experience driving the Brand X trans was the same, notchy feel and impossible to speed shift like you can with an 833. I hated it! I'm in line for a Passon, patiently waiting because I KNOW it will be worth the wait!

RealWing,
I asked one of Passion's guys if a moparts member actually had one in their car yet and he said yes. So I asked him if he was absolutely sure someone did and he guaranteed me that people did. He even got a bit miffed that I questioned him. Seems the truth is elusive or 1-3 might have their tranny in already. NOT! I hate BS.
Damon
I dislike posts like yours... and your attitude...do you think for one minute that Jamie Passon would produce anything but a 110% product??? Well????
I would not sell you a transmission...
Sorry Jamie, I can't sit here and put up with this.
BTW Great work!!!

Just to clarify, someone said to make sure that someone that wants one is on the list. I'm going to guess that once the list is satisfied, production won't stop and someone who started saving, Idk, like today, for one can purchase one later?
That would make sense.....why produce something only for the people on the list today? Once this unit is out in the real world and working I am sure there will be many more people wanting to buy one.

I'm not on the list, but I wish I was. How does one "GET" on the list again? Front a thousand bucks?
I'm gonna start saving today as well. Little by little. I do want one, and eventually will buy one if they are available.
Just call Jamie and say you want to be on the list...no money down! You will be contacted when a deposit is required.
