Need to get on the waiting list: I just heard about this trans on the cruise to MATS, and went thru all the posts today, I want to thank you for all your efforts so far. I have a Keisler A41 4 spd OD auto in my 67 GTX, the 572 pump gas hemi (635 HP & 665 ft lb T )is too much for it and need a OD manual trans option, I too had looked at the Mcleod trans but not any more, also had looked at the RS option but not interested. I can keep this trans going for enough time if I don't lean on the engine a lot,but would hope one is available later this summer before I head back to AZ for the winter. I also have sent in a e-mail to your website so I hope you can find the time to get back to me soon

Hello Gang, Here is an update to our 5 speed progress. We currently have several units out there in a bodies being torture tested. We have made a design change to the shifter fork arrangement and also to the 5th gear synchronizer design. So far the design change has proved to be a change for the better so we are now testing for durability with our proprietary enhanced key spring design . We are also awaiting from the foundry a revised tailhousing pattern for E Body tails as well as B Body tails. More information to follow as things develop. Thank you for your patience. No product will be released until I am 100 percent satisfied.
Thank You! I would much rather wait and have something that is sorted out and trouble free!

Need to order a twin disc clutch this week, understand that new trans will be 18 spline. Unfortunatly don't have any 18 spline 4-speed boxes if 5-speed is excessively delayed.
What to do? Don't wish to order two different $1200 clutch setups.

why would you need to buy another clutch setup when you can just buy another disc , assuming the pressure plate is still good ?

Discs, not disc.

What is your point?
I'm expected to buy a clutch, drive my car about and then purchase replacement discs for said $1200 clutch setup after the 18 spline transmission is finally released.
I don't like wasting money, throwing away two expensive discs is not my idea of a good time.

Nobody is forcing you to buy this transmission. Get over it, you're ruining the thread
Asking for an ETA in regards to a product announced several months ago isn't unreasonable.
Get over it? I even offered to drive my car to PA and test on my dime and pay full retail to boot.

Guys, lets try to keep it civil. I understand your concerns. This is the way that I look at it, I am assuming that you have a Mcleod Twin Disc clutch. If you do, I will rehub your discs from 23 spline to 18 spline for you. As for a timeframe. We are working as fast as we can. As I stated before, I am not comfortable releasing anything until we are 100% happy with performance.
Thanks for your time on the phone today!

How are the modifications coming along, Jamie? I have the car up in the air with the exhaust off. This would be a perfect time for me to upgrade the transmission.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)
