Yes, some product updates for prospective buyers would be good.

Mods are going well. We changed the lead in angle on the 1st gear synchro. Wxcellent results. We are currently awaiting patterns for the B and E Body tailhousings. These were supposed to be done in March. So, as you can imagine, I am less than pleased. However, at this point, to go after another foundry and pattern maker, just doesn't make sense. All I can say is that we are working as quickly as possible. We are continuing testing the unit in A Body cars as we await the B and E Body tooling. I have been really beating on this and it has not failed. 685 hp, 3660 lb car. Believe me, I want this project wrapped up as soon as possible. We have a TON of money out there. I am literally STANDING on the pattern maker to get these finished so that we can have display stuff for Carlisle. We are doing our best. I would like to thank everyone for their patience on this project.
Jamie

Thanks for the update and hard work in bringing this to market. Any ballpark figures yet on what this will cost?

Thanks for the updates.

Does that mean the A body version will get released first?

John,
There was not a price increase. Cost is set to be $4295.00 including shifter mechanism and linkage.
Thanks,
Jamie

Thanks for the correction on that Jamie , I didn't have the time to go back looking for it , very reasonable price for what you are offering .

If it will handle the 700 hp range on slicks in a heavy car that is a deal in my book. Looking forward to your great success Jamie.

A little update for everyone. We FINALLY picked up our prototype '62-'69 B Body prototype tailhousings at the foundry late Friday. Chips are falling off them as I type this. I got the '70 up B/E Body prototype housings yesterday and they will be at the machine shop today and hopefully be machined by Tuesday so that we can have those two units assembled and set up for display at Carlisle. We continue torture testing the other units out there currently. Be sure to stop by our trailer at Carlisle to see the units and also pick up any 4 speed stuff you need. We are located at Swap Meet Spots O20, 21, 22. I will check back at this as often as possible however, we are wide open trying to get ready for the show.
Thanks,
Jamie

Coming to a Mopar near you....The Passon 5....starring Jamie and the 5 Speeds.

Be sure to get in line early, as they are sure to sell out!

When's show time going to begin Jamie?

Production meeting scheduled tomorrow. If I wasn't so far into this project, I would probably bag it. Now I know why "others" have taken an existing transmission and tried to jam it into an old car instead of a whole new design. It is very hard to get things done in a timely fashion. It seems no one respects the delivery times that they set themselves.

well I for one certainly hope you do hang in there and I am sure the entire mopar enthusiasts feel the same way. I also hope everyone can grasp how huge a scope this whole deal is.

unfortunately, they don't set them for themselves, they set them for you, knowing that once you are in the process, it is too tough to back out, so they can do what they want.

then there are those who no matter how long in their business, still have no clue of how to estimate their time. they are well intentioned, just no clue how to estimate their time. it happens in all aspects of business, not just manufacturing.

hang in there, there are plenty of people waiting for this!
