Jamie , couple of questions , I know they won't get answered till next week .
1) What mount location will the B/E trans have , I assume the 70 up location? I never bought your B/E tail for the alum case I bought.
2) If someone bought say the A body trans and wanted to change it at a later date to the B/E would it be possible to buy a mainshaft and tailhousing, or send it in to have it retro fitted ?
John, The B/E tail will be the same arrangement as the factory B/E tail. Front and rear shifter mount flange with frontward trans mount flange. The '64- '69 B tail will be like factory too. Single shifter mount flange with trans mount flange rearward slightly.
If someone needs to swap tails later. We will swap it for them.

Just a quick question. Does the '70 A-body use the same trans cross-member for both auto and manual applications or is it different?
Some see the glass as half empty, some see the glass as half full. I just drink straight out of the bottle.

Good idea, have him ship it to me, save the customs BS and we can install it at my place before you head down

If you are married, the decision has already been made for you.

I've been waiting for this Jamie, as you know I almost pulled the trig on the OD 4 speed but I needed the right gear for 1/4 mile. My 517 70 Charger has a 727 in it but I left the clutch pedal in it to make the swap back easy....will it stand 700hp? Do you have any running around yet behind max wedge strokers?
I know a Tremec will hold up behind my motor but I know from plenty of experience rowing tremecs that it wont shift well at all behind a high torque but also hyper-fast revving combo like mine.
I can't imagine letting go of a matching numbers 833 case in my own situation (just to offset the cost of the new one) but I'd be willing to pull the trig on something like that if I was certain it would hold up and shift well under the load of a big motor.
