Hi there,

I need to know what kind of transmission-oil is recomended for a mopar with a 727 auto-trans.

The transmission is restored to original.

I think that MOST will agree that the F-type regular ATF is the plan.

It makes for a little firmer shift. ....

Original spec probably matches Dexron, but Type F is less "slippery" and works well. FWIW, I run a synthetic Type F in mine.

I use Dexron 6 in mine and no issues at all..

2011 RAM3500

1967 Fastback Barracuda with some go fast goodies.
