i have a '95 grand cherokee that 2 years ago i replaced the alternator cause, when first started the gauge wouldn't move much past 12 volts. i also had dim headlights. and as the car warmed up, the gauge would begin to climb, headlights brightened and then it would peg at just over 14 volts and be fine. if the vehicle was already warm, or it was a warm day, this wouldn't happen. replacing the alternator the problem went away. now 2 years later the same problem has happened. whats happening to the alternator, or regulator or is it something else in the car causing this that i can look into? kinda stymied as i'm not an electrical person. i'm going to be replacing the alternator again, but i want to know should i be troubleshooting something i'm unaware of? thanks for any advice in advance dave ss/ea #1355
