I am starting to plan engine components for Strip-Street 440+ in an A body. Shooting low for now, say 450 to 500hp. Any feedback on experiance with either will be appreciated.

Thanks, John

Not to hijack this post but will the Edelbrock Victor intake with Dominator flange work with Edelbrock Performer heads?

No problem...From the Edelbrock website...Designed for 413-440 RB with standard or Max Wedge heads and 4500 Series carburetors. -
Super Victor 440 for 4500 series carb #2891
Super Victor 440 Max Wedge for 4500 series carb

So I think it depends on which one you buy.

So back on my question, is ther a performance advantage to either the Eddy Victor of the MP M1?

Steve Dulich<sp> did a back to back dyno test a few years back, the Victor was worth a few more on the pump, BUT every combo is diff yours might like the M1 better. That being said iv'e got a 4500 M1 on my engine right now.

I would guess that for a combo that mild in that application...that the M1 may be the better choice.
