I have to remove my input shaft to have it cut down, and I was wondering if anyone on here has a 4 speed disassembly guide or some diagrams?

Why do you need to cut down the input?

The engine I'm putting in my car wasn't drilled for a pilot, so I bought the adapter from mancini. During assembly I couldn't get the trans bolted to the bellhousing and figured out this was do to the crank not being drilled deep enough. After talking to mancini and my machinist I was told to cut down the length of the shaft. So here I am. And thanks for the diagrams.

No need to dissasemble it.

Just mark the shaft with a roll of tape to keep your cut square and snip it off.

Use the adapter bushing you bought, and drill the clearance in the crank. I have done it with the engine assembled without any problems.

I like that idea.

You outta think about working on 4-speeds. I think you could do a good job.

just turn the trans over by the output shaft with the trans in 4th gear.
hold grinder on end of input and grind to desired length.
not rocket science.
