Is there a manufacture that makes a custom wheel spacer instead of the multi-fit - multi-hole spacer?

A local machine shop could do this for you.. what is wrong with a multi hole spacer?

No spacer is best, a custom made one is better than the univerisals. I have some 1/4" spacers from Mark Williams Ent that are drilled for 3 bolt circles, that's the same as custom made, IMO. 1/4" is the thickest you should use if you have to.

There are spacers and adaptors. Spacers are just that. Adaptors bolt to the existing studs and have a 2nd set of studs for the wheel.
How thick do you need?
I went with American racing wheels on the barracuda so I needed an adaptor for the front. The better quality ones use 6061-t6 aluminum and grade 8 hardware.
I seem to recall not to use spacers if you need more than 1/4"

yes we make custom direct fit, hub centric spacers. ours are made from 6061 aluminum or 1018 steel.
