I can’t say that much about a 65 but my 64 Dodge Polara 500 hardtop streetcar weighs 3899lbs with out me. The car was scaled with 5 gallons of gas, 8 point, dana, cross ram, aluminum wheels, radio, heater, wipers, bucket seats, center consule, undercoating, and dynamat on the floors. It’s all steel and stock except the fiberglass hood. My race weight is light 4144lbs and I run 10.90@123mph. I'm thinking of joining weight watchers after the holidays . 40-50 for me and a lot of on the car

Just another one for reference since it is a '64, but our Savoy weighs 3575lbs without driver.
All steel, all factory undercoating, 6pt moly bar in full factory interior, Dana 60, all iron big block, etc...

My Dad's all stock 426 street wedge 4 spd weighs 3450 with a 1/2 tank of gas, nothing has been removed from the car and it had steel wheels on it when I weighed it at a certified scale

I am beginning to wonder how rusty some of these cars were before they were built. Possibly spent a little too much time in the dip tank.

The comment was not pointed in anyone's direction. But the weights are all over the place. You have race cars with fiberglass pieces and light weight wheels that weigh 3800 lbs and stockers with steel wheels that weigh 3450. I know some of the weights are with drivers but there seems to be some that are just lighter than others. Hope my Savoy is one of the light ones.

I agree ....weights all over the place, when posts about weight comes up there always seems to be 3600lb+ a bodies and 4000lb+ b bodies..I have personally never seen any on a scale that heavy
