Sooner or later one of us is going to sneak a 9 sec pass in a full weight R/T. With his R3 block he should have no issue getting there at all. I'm still convinced once the stars and moon align i can sneak a 9 sec pass with my Magnum block we will take another shot at it next year.

Should we call it a race to 9's?

Not a fair race with that R3 block of yours. Hell you can throw 30+ lbs of boost at that block.

I'm not 100% convinced my block will take the strain but we will find out one way or the other. Figure I need 20 lbs give or take.

My block and your standalone and we can do it.

I am trying to do it with 14lbs. We will see. I just got tired of crossing my fingers every time I go to the track. So now its going all out.

Oh that would work, when I can expect the block to arrive?

Supposedly the air is going to be pretty good for Pinks....
We'll see if I get a chance to do any better.

Wouldnt it just be easier to mail the standalone? How does the engine bay look with it in? Check engine light?

Standalone is invisible it is under my passenger seat.
Check engine light easy ... just remove the bulb

Thanks!

For everyone else... You would probably not see as many Dakota hotrods as you do now if Mother Mopar would have been producing an affordable rear wheel drive V8 all along. We started playing with these heavy trucks because the price of decent older iron went thru the roof - and we didn't want a Mustang.

You have a good picture of your engine bay? Looking down into it? Sides maybe?
