just wondering and thinking about if a new stall converter would increase performance on my 30 over 383 with 727. any suggestions. its a driver. thanks

A higher stall converter will give you more bottom end if your combo needs it. Depends on a lot of factors like cam, compression, weight, the whole package really.

If your present converter is a '67 or later 383HP it's a pretty good converter for a factory piece.
