I know that this is an old post, but have there been any updates on the H wheels or 450 wheels? Has anyone stepped up to reproduce these?

This pretty much insures no 15" '68 wheels will be repro'd.

What is the story with H wheels? I picked a pair of 15X8's a couple weeks ago with the H stamped on them, i remembered seeing threads on here about them but never understood what the big deal was with them.

Think the "H" stands for "Heavy Duty" as the H steel wheels are usually on station wagons and heavier vehicles or a vehicle with a big V-8

If you have an A12 car without H wheels, you will be looked down/frowned upon by all those that do have them !!

A buddy of mine works at Kelsey Wheel in Sedalia, MO. I wonder if they would be interested in taking on tooling and production. I was thinking they made mainly steel wheels there only.

Just a thought.

That would e an expensive project and return on investment and demand probably wouldn't make it profitable.

I thought RestoRick was doing some work to a more common wheel to provide the correct looking, size, dated, dimpled wheel all of the A12 guys were after?

He was/is ??? and that would be just as acceptable as a REPOP wheel ... and cheaper.
