Hey guys...

Looking for an alternator for my carbed magnum using the 7 rib factory sepentine system. One that doesnt look like crap and doesnt cost 300+ bucks?

I guess that means around 136 amp with some kind of decent finish on it like a powdercoat or something. My whole engine is done up VERY CLEAN so far and I dont want to put a factory alternator on it that will look like hell in a few months.

Any places other than tuff stuff or powermaster?
They seem to want to hang me upside down and shake every last penny out of me...and I say no. lol

What alternator can I use as an alternative with a minumum of fuss? I dont mind a little tweaking, but I need to use the factory bracket.

I'd appreciate any help.

Have you tried looking at Rockauto?

I think if you look up the diesel applications, it looks like the mounts are the same, and they're higher amperage than the gas apps.

If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
