I have a 67 Charger 4 speed car and need a driveshaft. Does the 4 speed car take a different driveshaft than the automatic?? The car has a hemi and an 8,3/4 rear in it.

Thanks

Santo

the 4 speed drive shaft has a balancer near the front yoke. but you can use one from an automatic without any problems. my '68 Charger had one, and i ran it without knowing there was a difference for 15 years.

If its a 727, yes. If its a 904, the shaft is longer since the 904 is 4" shorter than the 727.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I found one from a 727 automatic car on Ebay and will give it a try.

Thanks again
