I need a dampner for an external ballanced 360 that will see 6000+ RPM. It doesn't have to be top of the line. But what I would like is one that has the removeable counter weights so it can be used for an internal balanced engine as well. This 360 is a "fill in engine" until the rest of the car gets finished. Plans are to build a internal ballanced stroker motor after the car is complete so I'd like to beable to use the same dampner if possible. And info you guys have would be great.

I use the summit one (like $209 new or something) and have had 0 problems. I think it got shredded on the BB post but like ive said, 0 issues and has removeable counter weights.

I know the one I listed in the other thread has removable weights.

We have one on the 360 in the 72 and have had no isues with it or my big block counterpart.

Just remove the screws (by the orange ring) when you get it and put a dab of Loc Tite on them.

Professional Products also make a pro series,
that is SFI approved with the weights. They
usually go for around $160.
