Yes the tranny has all 3 gears. When you floor it the engine revs and it kicks down to second gear but the car doesn't seem to go faster than 60 mph. It just hits a point and will not go faster unless I let off the pedal and get back to 3rd gear. It doesn't take off like it should. The guy that did the tranny also replaced the torgue converter with a stock one.

hi check your fuel psi at speed ! not at idle ! week fuel supply , cloged filter ,points shot ,timing incorrect ,dirty air filter ,dist not advancing , cam timing off !

I will check. I do have new fuel tank,fuel lines. No points. Have Mopar Electronic Ignition. New air filter. Taking it back to my guy next week to check timing.
