I tend to agree. I know things can be frustrating, but if people cant handle having to put jets in a carb, or tweak some parts now and then to make them work, they should be in another hobby. Maybe start with building bird houses then work up to having a race car.

I have yet to buy a single part for my small block race car that didn't need machining, modifying, grinding, clearancing, or adjustment of some kind, not a single one.

'92 D250 Club Cab CTD, 47RH conversion, pump tweaks, injectors, rear disc and hydroboost conversion.
'74 W200 Crew Cab 360, NV4500, D44, D60 and NP205 divorced transfer case. Rear disc and hydroboost conversion.
2019 1500 Long Horn Crew Cab 4WD, 5.7 Hemi.

How is anyone scaring good info away. But I will say that only about 70% of the advice I've taken from this site has been good. Some has given me some serious trouble.
There are certain posters on here that I now trust more than others. I think some of the guys are just bench racers rather than having real world racing experience.
