If you don't put the stainless trim tabs in before putting the windshield in, you have to pull the windshield back out, then put the clips in and put the windshield back. You will probably ruen the gasket and need to buy another.

Dumping antifreeze on a fire doesn't put it out but actually turns it into a raging inferno!

Inner fenders are not a secure place to leave a "710" cap.

Using duct tape to replace the one that your fan kicked onto the freeway ramp works pretty well, until your engine heats up.

Don't ask me how I know this.

The wires to ypur ammeter can fuse themselves together, creating years of electrical gremlins.

A small piece of metal and a gob of poster tack stuffed into the steering column harness connector will return your brake lights to operational, but don't try using your hazzard lights afterwards.

A burping carb can give you a nice clean, but tender and smelly, shave and a haircut

If you don't put a bowling ball into a bowling ball bag before you put it in the trunk it will roll from side to side with every turn and dent you trunk from the inside out (at least that's what I heard).

When locking keys in trunk, It would be easy to go in thru the back seat if it wasn't for the metal plate mandated by NHRA to seperate fuel cell from passenger compartment

Taking your grilfriend to the local Pick-N-Pull on her birthday will lead to problems in the relationship. Even if it is "Half-Price Weekend and maybe you'll find something for her car, too."

Becoming the shortest path of resistance on your coil wire will make your girlfriend happy, but it will not make you feel so good. Don't ask me how I know.

A well placed backfire upon startup is a great way to test the restrictiveness of your exhaust system.

If your muffler blows open at the seams, it was way too restrictive, and you have just modified it for WAY less backpressure.

(1) If you're changing oil on your motorcycle and fail to replace the drain plug, the new synthetic oil is guaranteed to run out on your boot and make a hard-to-clean-up mess.

(2) Always check the operation of your automatic trans kickdown linkage, and verify there is no binding, with the engine off, before taking it on a test drive.

(3) If your gas pedal sticks on the floor due to a bound kickdown linkage, and you're going down a 2-lane road quickly approaching slower traffic, turn the key off. Do not turn it back to where it locks the steering wheel. Also, failure to immediately bump transmission into neutral may result in blown-out mufflers.

Brake Fluid makes a great anti-coagulant. External use only recommended.
