What can you do to a 69 A body to loosen the front end and have 5" of travel??

Has anyone gone smaller then the .810 Drag bar???

They've been OK for me.....I usually run a sway bar with them though......There isn't one on my GTS though.......but it wasn't built to carve corners either.......

Stock front suspension, 6 cylinder bars, rubber bushings. Calvert 90/10 front shocks, caltracs and monos rear.

I have just at 4.5" front travel with a 25" tall front tire.

Here's the car at rest for comparison:

Big Squeeze I have been reading some of your posts. Good info. I'm going to use an adjustable strut rod and replace my lca bushings with poly ones. I was thinking about the FFI greesable pins and bushings.

I have 5 1/2" on my 69 Dart with factory a arms, no (rubber) bumpers, 273 torsion bars, .870" I think, stock strut rods and rubber bushings. It's a 3260# pump gas street/strip 408, it made four passes Saturday night, the best 60' was 1.388, the worst was 1.407. That was with what one esteemed member here said was junk comp 3 way front shocks.

My ole race car has 6cyl torsion bars and comp engineering three way shocks up front. Not to sure how much travel but there is a lot .I think this is exagerated by the big ole skins on the rear.Rear springs are 2800lbs super stocks with strange 20 adjustables...Car weighs 2780lbs with me...
