Dash Specialists in Medford Oregon did a dash for my AMX, they did a great job, a fraction of the price quoted by Just Dashes, and no attitude. 541-776-7482. Dashboard Restorations USA in Brush Prairie, Wa. were also very helpful, 360-892-4075 www.dashboardrestorations.comHope this helps...

Does anyone know who did the repro/restored E-body dashes for Year One back in the early-mid 90s? How was the quality? There's one for sale locally and I'm wondering if its even worth looking at. This wouldn't be one of those cases where Year One sold NOS Chrysler stuff would it? I know someone who bought a gas tank from Year One years ago and was surprised to get a NOS Chrysler part shipped to him from Year One.
FWIW, you may want to take a look at it. I had a 71 Cuda years ago that had a beautiful pad in it. I have had just dashes and UR pads in my cars, this was nicer than either. I pulled the dash apart to clean some stuff up, the year one logo was stamped in it, I think under the VIN? I think I had to redo it since they had hardware store rivets on it. Is the local to you pad a 70? If so, and you pass, shoot me a PM. Thanks! If it were a NOS pad, I would expect it would not have a place for model above the glove box, but just flat across.

A friend bought one of the last NOS dash pads from Chrysler in about 1981, and had to wait about three weeks for it to arrive from wherever it was found. As mentioned, there was no lettering or recessed area for a decal, but instead the grain texture continued across the area... Later I was told by a parts manager at a dealership that they had been serviced that way since at least the mid 1970s.
A few years later, I lucked across one in a newspaper Ad and bought it, but it was a NOS A/C pad. As with the pad a friend ordered, no lettering or recess...

Its advertised locally. Left a msg but no response. I'll go look at it if he ever gets back to me. This is described as a 71-74 pad - don't know if it has the recessed area for the model.
