Hi, I'm planning on purchasing a motor plate from Mancini for my 500 Stroker. I've heard a couple of guys say you need to install limiters when using a motor plate. I was thinking of just leaving my passengerside motor mount (rubber) in place. I have a poly trans mount. Would this be sufficient to prevent the for and aft movement of the block. I'm running an external oiling system now and the driverside mount needs to go. Also I've heard that the torque can cause stress on the cylinders on that side and cost horsepower. Also will help eliminate breaking the ears off the block and ruining the block. So do I need the limiters or will the passengerside mount be sufficient? Why or why not. Thanks

Looks like a race car and in that case I would run the
limiter (at least one)... if the car launches hard it
will move alot
