Well hit the track Saturday temp about 65 degrees, 15 mph headwind.

1st pass 10.54 @ 133.84.... 15lbs boost.

Tech guy comes over with his marker in hand and says you are done for the day as you dont have a 5 point harness. ([Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean]) . Anyways we come to an agreement and promise to back off at the 1,000 marker every pass.

So we work on our times in the 1/8 and try to add some boost. We up it to add an additional 2 lbs. 1/8 pass falls off a touch runs a 6.89 @ 104 . Boost seemed unchanged. So we add addtional 1 lb should now be 18 lbs boost, but again no change run a 6.83 @ 105. Data log showed no change in boost.

So Wade my wrench says we are now at the limit of the turbo wanting to spool, says we need to now get creative and add CO2 into the manifold to make the turbo spool harder? don't ask me how that works just says no biggie we can do it for next year, says all his EZ street class cars run into exact same problem.

Anyways good news was distributor change got rid of the high rpm miss ran all the way to 7200 on one pass (Me bad). Got better results shifting around 6,500 and keeping turbo working harder.

Last pass we said screw the tech guy and make another full out 1/4 pass.

10.54 @ 135.66 new MPH best but time stayed same. Did hit a 1.59 60' time as well.

Good news everything held together and aim for something a bit better next year.

Thanks.

Now we need to work on getting the turbo to spool just a couple more lbs of boost.

What are the specs on the turbo? Curious because I have a light truck and would like to do somthing different, and there's a gawd aweful amount of room under the hood...Post a pic of it, I would like to see how you mounted it...

Impressive! Love the extended cab, I've always liked Dakota drag trucks but I don't fit very well in the standard cabs at 6'2".
