Si I got this booster from Advance, I knew it wasn't the correct Bendix, but it said "fit and function" is the same. First problem was fitting to the metal brake plat. The booster stud pattern is OK, but the pushrod is not exactly centered to the hole in the plate. A little egging of the plate holes fixed that. Unfortunately, the firewall is the same and I'm not cutting the firewall to fit this thing. BTW it's huge. It may be OK on a 318, but on a 440 its very close to the valve covers, if it would fit.
What is this booster from anyway? I guess its gotta go back and start the crapshoot to see if I'll eventually get a correct Bendix.
How much clearance does the Bendix have with a 440? Anyone else have a similar experience or solution?

Here's another pic.
I just returned it, and of course that was the only one available, so looks like I'm outta luck.

Ooops, sorry. Its for a 1970 Coronet. I was looking to switch out the power drum booster for the power disc one.

I ordered the Bendix for discs, and this unknown thing showed up, so the rebuilder must have put the wrong booster in the box. There are no other same part numbers in the rebuilder inventory, so I will have to use the Midland for now and seek out a Bendix somewhere else.
