Hi guys I'm posting this trying to find a few ideas for a friend of mine. His car is a 67 R/T with a Hemi he's looking to pull the exhuast manifolds off and run headers for a awhile. He restored it many years ago and is getting sick of the car show scene. So he's going to pull the four speed and run a built auto with a good converter that he had out of another car that he had.The plan is to just have some fun with the car and race like he did in the 70s.So getting back to the main question what brand of header fits that body the best??Keep in mind he's not looking for the most expensive set out there just something that fits decent. They don't have to come coated either, and if they could fit a 4sp or auto would be good so if he changes back we don't have to modify the headers.Any help would be great,or if theres any nice used ones out there let me now.
Thanks inadvance
Joe

TTI's fit the best, but they aren't cheap.

I have a 67 Coronet that I run at the Grove and on the street. TTI's with 3" to the bumper. Fit like a glove and have plenty of clearance around the plugs... but, I'm not running a hemi, I have a 470 stroker. I haven't heard anything bad about TTI's at all... except they are not cheap.
