I have big block with stealth heads. works great except under hard acceleration it blows dipstick from tube. replaced pcv valve didnt help. put on breather set up with the hoses that run down to header collector. Still blows dipstick out. any ideas? Thanks

My son had an 88 Corvette that would do the exact same thing. It turned out to be a broken piston. The KB pistons had a broken top ring land. Was allowing the compression to blow by under hard acceleration. Replaced the one bad piston and problem solved. Hope this is NOT your problem.

BIG hole in at-least one piston.

Rebuild the engine. Excessive blow-by means that something's wrong mechanically.

Time for a leakdown / compression test.

If you don't have a breather on both valve covers it will push out dipstick due to pressure build up. Make sure the breathers are also not plugged up or full of oil. Yes it can be a pressure build up not frm ablwn headgasket or hole in a slug

Need more info to figure out your problem. You're building too much crankcase pressure. Why it's doing this is what we need to figure out.

How big is this motor? Give us a run down of the combo. Low tension rings?

What kind of condition is the motor in? Fresh build? Or did it just start doing this?

You said you have a PCV valve, but how about other breathers on the valve covers? A picture of the motor might be better.

You tried the evac tubes going to the headers...do you run mufflers? If so, what kind are they and how big is the exhaust system?

"works great except under hard acceleration"

...which would tell me that there is no hole in a piston, but bad ring seal...
